How dependent is your business really on you?
A robust analysis based on your company data. Not an estimate, not a hunch. CHF 4,800, written report and a personal results discussion.
Four areas in which dependency becomes visible.
Operational control
What share of day-to-day business runs through you?
Decisions
Which decisions need your sign-off?
Relationships
What revenue hangs on you rather than the business?
Knowledge
What exists only in your head?
Operational control
What share of day-to-day business runs through you? How much time does that bind per week?
Decisions
Which decisions need your sign-off? Is there a leadership layer that decides, or one that executes?
Relationships
What share of revenue hangs on relationships bound to you rather than to your business?
Knowledge
Which business-critical knowledge exists only in your head?
Personal results discussion
The part that cannot be delivered in writing: which findings weigh heavily in your situation, where you are ready to let go, and in what order this is sensibly tackled.
Concrete figures, not gut feeling.
- For each of the four areas we capture concrete figures in your business: task distribution, sign-off paths, revenue attribution, process documentation
- That takes preparation on your side, and it is the point where this analysis differs from a questionnaire
- Where the data does not carry an area, we say so, instead of producing a number that will not hold
- No coaching, no mentoring, no open office hours
Five steps, cleanly separated.
Booking
Fixed fee, booked directly. No preliminary call, no needs analysis.
Intake
You get access to the counted intake: task distribution, sign-off paths, revenue attribution, process documentation.
Diagnostic run
Four-area assessment, bottleneck mapping, action prioritization.
Results discussion
Output handover, clarifying questions, architecture recommendation.
Decision
Stay with the diagnose? Continue to Build to Leave™? You decide, we recommend.
Why we do not ask for percentages.
Ask someone for “roughly what percentage” and you get a memory back, then call it a measurement. So the intake asks for lists instead: tasks, decision types, client relationships, processes. The four measures are computed from them. Two rules make the difference between counted and claimed.
No default is an answer.
Every classification starts as unanswered, and what is unanswered counts nowhere — not even as zero. The prefilled decision rows are a starting point, not a result: left untouched they would yield an approval share of 0 % and still carry the label “counted”. A row also has to be named before it counts. Three blank rows are not a list.
Contradictions are rejected, not smoothed.
If two client relationships are given as 70 % and 60 % of revenue, that is not a tidy 100 % — it is an error in the intake. The calculation stops and reports the contradiction instead of capping it to something plausible. A capped figure would look like a measurement and would not be one.
If the intake is incomplete, the form says so live and names the missing fields before anything can be submitted. The gap surfaces while you fill it in — not after the run is paid for.
Prerequisites.
- Owner-led business with a leadership layer that exists or can be built
- Not a fit where the business is essentially a one-person service
- Willingness to use structured output, no relationship-consulting need
How this can end.
- 01
No structural work needed.
It happens. Then we say so, and you have an evidenced answer instead of a hunch.
- 02
Targeted individual measures.
The dependency sits on a few clearly nameable points. The report describes them, and you can run the implementation yourself.
- 03
Structural dependency.
Several areas are affected and reinforce each other. This is where Build to Leave™ continues.

The Diagnostic is not a preliminary step towards a sales conversation. No call beforehand, no needs analysis, no individual quote: a clearly defined fixed-fee product, booked directly. The personal discussion happens after the analysis, as part of what you bought.
Ready for structured clarity?
The quick check first, then the Diagnostic. The same four areas, once as your own assessment, once from counted company data.
